Using Instructional Technology to Support Physical Science

Problem Question

Will integrating instructional technology keep my students motivated and engaged in their learning of physical science concepts?

Background Research

Hypothesis

Test

Data Observation and Analysis

Conclusion

To my students: Your "I.R.S." page must look like this one. Your problem question is acceptable provided that it goes beyond a simple YES/NO response.  Your study should be related to any aspect of physical science. Your background research should be what you already may know and basic information you gather relevant to your topic.  Your hypothesis must be a conditional statement with a rationale based on current knowledge and logical reasoning.  Explain how you will conduct the test through detailed materials and procedures.  Your data section should include 2+ visuals that cover observations.  Your analysis of the observations should follow (a minimum of three).  Your conclusion must restate the purpose, hypothesis, findings, and how this information would benefit others in your scientific community (our class) on the physical science concepts addressed.
